'Terrible breakdown in civility’ taking place in American politics

The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan discusses the “terrible breakdown in civility” which has taken place in American politics.

“Both sides of American politics, driven partly by social media, are very dangerously demonising each other,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“When the worst of them generally are that, they are idiots; they are not really murderers and wannabe dictators and scumbags and all the rest of it.”
